Project – Kambah Townhouses

Kambah, ACT

PROJEX Building

This redevelopment in the southern Canberra suburb of Kambah involved the demolition of derelict residential structures on a large block and the creation of twelve townhouses. The development includes 10 two-storey units with separate garages and two single-storey units, all designed to meet Class C adaptive living standards. This ensures the homes are accessible and can accommodate residents with diverse needs, thereby offering long-term flexibility.

Innovations played a key role in supplying high-quality bathroom, kitchen, and laundry products for the project. These include Caroma tapware and care items, Johnson Suisse toilets, Westinghouse ovens, rangehoods, and cooktops, as well as Neko vanities. Stiebel Eltron Compact Heat Pumps were also supplied to reduce energy consumption across the complex.

The contemporary design of the bathrooms and kitchens introduces a fresh and bright ambiance throughout the homes. Architecturally, the development enhances the local streetscape with modern features that harmonize with the surrounding environment.

This project was recognised with the 2024 Master Builders Association ACT Award for Special Purpose / Adaptable Dwellings, a testament to its thoughtful design and construction quality.
